A little bag

big impact
Australia's hub for grubby garb
When you send a RCYCL bag with unwearable garments, the first step in our process is collection. All garments are sent to our Australian hub, where they are carefully categorised by type and material. This ensures we know exactly what we have and how to best to recycle it.
Partnering with Recycling Experts
Once sorted, the garments are sent to our trusted recycling partners. Nothing goes to waste in the RCYCL process—every item is handled responsibly, including our packaging.
Transformation of material
Natural Fibres: Garments made from natural fibres like cotton can be respun into new yarn. This process not only reduces waste but also creates new products from the materials already in circulation.
Synthetic and Mixed Fibres: Clothing that contains synthetic fibres or a blend of materials is transformed into carpet underlay. In Australia, approximately 95% of carpet underlay is made from plastic materials*, contributing to environmental waste. By recycling these materials, we help divert waste from landfills and promote a
circular economy.
Innovation & Collaboration
At RCYCL, we’re committed to innovation in textile recycling. We actively seek out new technologies as they develop in Australia and collaborate with forward-thinking partners to transform how textiles are recycled. Our goal is to lead the way in sustainable practices and create effective solutions for the future.
