Buy, Sort & Fill:

Our fully compostable bags make it easy to recycle unwearable clothes. Customers simply purchase a bag online, it will be send via snail mail and when received fill it with items that are no longer wearable or suitable for donation.

Scan & Send:

Use our logistics partners to send your filled satchel back to us. You can find your nearest drop-off point upon scanning your QR code provided within your order.

Disclaimer : certain regional and remote locations may fall out of our service area. You will be notified via email if this is the case.

Transform & Renew:

At our partner facilities, clothes are meticulously sorted by fibre type, shredded, spun into yarn, and either woven into new fabrics or needle punched to create carpet underlay. This process ensures every item is repurposed, reducing the amount of waste sent to landfill.

SIZE L: RCYCL return bag: $29.95 RRP saves up to 20 'everyday' garments from landfill for a seasonal cleanse, school or sport uniforms or a new workwear wardrobe is needed

SUSTAINABILITY DETAILS

This a certified home compostable, fully biodegradable mailing satchel partly made from plants from our partner, Better Packaging Co.

• Made from completely biodegradable and compostable materials; corn starch, PLA (synthesised from corn) and PBAT (Polybutyrate Adipate Terephthalate).

• This combination of materials is non-toxic and contains no Phthalate or Bisphenol A (BPA).

• Certified free of GMO material.

• While these materials are biodegradable and compostable, they are not 100% renewable as the PBAT component is derived from petroleum-based materials. We are limited at the moment by the availability of suitable, sustainable raw materials that deliver the barrier and performance properties we need but are always testing resins made from an even greater amount of plant-based material – exciting times!

If unsure on how to discard, please send back to RCYCL in the packed bag. We will work it through our composting systems.

What happens next?

1. Scan the QR code

Scan the QR code on the satchel with your phone camera to check where your closest drop off location is.

2. Find your unwanted clothes

Find items in your closet that you no longer need and/or cannot be donated. These might be damaged shirts or old bedsheets.

3. Pack and send!

Pack all that you can into the bag and seal it. Then simply drop it off at the drop-off location closest to you and that's it!
